First day

We meet some pretty tired travelers this afternoon, but were all excited to finally be here. After collecting all the luggage a d boarding the bus, we then had a two hour bus ride to Tiberias. We are staying at the Scots Hotel, right on the Sea of Galilee. Everyone says it seems surreal to see signs to Jerusalem, Nazareth and other familiar Biblical sights. Ken and I were listening to the book of Revelation this morning and then this afternoon we drove by The fields of Megigo where the final battle will take place!
We had a wonderful dinner, the fruits and vegetables are like none other tasted, now everyone is heading off to bed, we will be up at six, bus leaves at 7:45. It will be interesting with all the teenagers and college students we have to see that happen.
A year ago we gave each of the kids 50 sheckles and told them to bring them on the trip and they could double their money. When they got here we asked them to recite the Shama to us. We will be saying it every morning before we leave. The Shema is "here, O Israel: The Lord our God, The Lord is one. Love The Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength."
Deuteronomy 6:4,5
The kids were lining up to say it!
Enclosed just a couple of pictures.
