Ken and I arrived in Israel late yesterday afternoon. After getting to our hotel, we took a long walk along the sea in Tel Aviv. Tel Aviv is like twin cities. Tel Aviv is the new and Jaffa is the old city. We walked down to the old city and had a bowl of delicious tomato soup, Greek salad and humas and pita's. As we looked out over the sea and thought of all our family flying over, we reflected on our fifty years of marriage and how blessed we are to celebrate it in God's special place.
We are now waiting for Boaz (our guide and friend), to pick us up and go to the airport. I am sure we are going to greet some very excited, but tired people.
Thank you for joining us on our journey of adventure. Hopefully we will be able to post some pictures along the way. The name of our group is "Heritage Trails," named after our place in Hayward. It is so named because of our rich heritage and the trails we are all on in our lives. God bless!
